Don't let the frat-boy look mislead you - this former shoe salesman knows the blues and isn't afraid to let his emotions run wild in this countrified rock anthology. Part Skynyrd, part Tiny Purple Fishes, part good old boy Yanni - Thomas and his debut disc are hard to put a label on. My wife and I listen to this disc incessantly and, as a side note, "I Will Not Look Like Them" is a wonderful disc to sing or hum along to in the car.
