Timeless observations from a very wise man, if only we had his wit now.., January 3, 2006

After reading a biography of Will Rogers, I was given this cd for Christmas. Listening to his humorous twists on government, politics, and current events, you come to realize that little has changed between 2006 and 1915 in Washington. This man did for for unity and the common dreams of Americans than anyone in Washington has done in my lifetime.
In a time of terrible division and two horrific terms of George W. Bush, our country could sorely use Will Rogers now.

Will Rogers, Great and timely, March 15, 2006

Will Rogers died seventy years ago, yet what he says rings true and is timeless. The commentaries relative to American Politics apply today as they did then, whether they are about congress or going to war to make the world safe for democracy. Will Rogers remains an American treasure.
