He is also the puzzlemaster on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday and is founder and director of the annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. He has edited countless books of crossword puzzles, Sudoku, KenKen, and all manner of brain-busters.

A "level" playing field,

Having burned through many multilevel sudoku books and, after the first few, leaving the easier puzzles blank, I'm happy to see the publisher repackage some of the puzzles to produce a book consisting solely of difficult/challenging puzzles. There are 100 of each level in a midsized, lightweight book which is very portable.

The very difficult is tuff, not undoable but you may have to put it down and come back. there's lots of them
