I'm thrilled that Curtis made this CD. His work on the Blue Trane made me appreciate his work on the trombome. He is all over the place on many cds with the greats. I purchased The Opener and Blues-Ette, both Curtis Fuller cds, love them both. It is no suprise that he has allied himself with musicians of a calibre that would make Coltrane proud. The great part is, that you can sample this cd here on Amazon and make up your own mind.
