How Will They Get That Heart Down Your Throat?,
By
This review is from: How Will They Get That Heart Down Your Throat?: A Child's View of Transplants (Hardcover)
My sister died waiting for a heart transplant 20 years ago and this was not out then but I bought it later when it did come out. It was a great way to help my children understand about heart transplants. In the book the teacher gets and heart and lives a good life afterward. A great book for children if anyone in your family is going through this.

It took them a month to get me the book. This book is not appropriate for kids, it has to many graphic details that children do not need to know about. I am glad I read the book before I shared it with my 8 year old It would have worried him and scared him I'm surprised a kindergarten teacher would think this is appropriate for children.
