It's Michelle's turn to have an adult supervise her class party. But the only one avalible is Stephanie. Her sister is a great thinker so things start okay. Michelle will now do a favor by finding her sister a date for the middle school dance. Neither things work out! Read the book to see what happens next.

Stephanie comes to the rescue to host Michelle's class Valentine's Day party. She's glad for the distraction - she then doesnt' have to think about her lack of a date for her own school dance. But Michelle comically tries to find her one. Stephanie's plans for the party keep falling through, though, leading to her doing things at the party which are so comical that even snobby Rachel Tilly seems to quietly admit not even a mother would stoop to do.
