Not the Best of the Claymation Specials
This is one of 3 Claymation holiday specials by Will Vinton. The classic Claymation Christmas, plus all 3 Claymation specials, Comedy of Horrors (Halloween) and Claymation Easter, have recently been reissued on one VHS, and on DVD. The new release is recommended for the improved picture and audio quality...the VHS is now in the quality SP Mode.

My Pre-Halloween review
The Main lead is unlikeable but still relatable in some right. It also has too many plotholes like "Why do they have to get the monster by midnight if the stuff and the castle are not going anywhere?" The upside is that the claymation is first-rate. The jokes in this tape are funny. The voice acting is good. Overall,It's not great but pretty good. I give this tape a 7 out...
