I have had several dogs in my life and although my intentions were good, I always struggled on how to have a relationship with my dog that was both satisfying and positive for both of us. Gina's book has opened my eyes to a new way to view my relationship with my new puppy. I wanted to do things different this time around with my new puppy and was seeking a way to create a relationship with my dog that would help him to feel safe and happy, while I had a dog that I enjoyed without nagging him all the time about undesireable behaviors.

I found the way to have this relationship in Gina's book "Will Work or Food, Ditch the Dish"! I understand so much more clearly now how to engage with my dog, what to expect from my dog (that he will always act like a dog) and how to satisfy him mentally and physically so we can have a fun, easy-going relationship. This book is easy to read, with realistic approaches to setting you and your dog up for success.

If you want to be a better dog-owner and want to understand how best to work with your dog, this is the book you need. Thanks Gina!! I am becoming a better human for my dog Finnegan everyday!!
