This is a wonderful "children's book" about what it means to receive a blessing. Little Anna asks her father what he means when he says bless you. He explains this by telling a story about Mary telling Jesus the story of his conception and birth, with Joseph listening to the story. The blessing is the many treasures that Mary reveals to Jesus about how special he is in the plan of God the Father. The book is beautifully written and illustrated and not just for children. Each time I read it to my 5 and 3 year old I learn more and more about the special blessings God has for each of us. Highly recommended.

An adorable book for young Christians. Suitable mostly for Christmas, but also anytime. The book is the re-telling of the Christmas story by Mary, to her son Jesus. While it might sound like it's appropriate for preschoolers, I would recommend it for ages 5-9. Still young enough to sit on your lap and be read to. But it might be difficult for preschoolers to understand some of it.

Did you ever think of the little boy Jesus asking His Mom about the angels that appeared the night He was born? Jesus gets as excited as your own two year would get. 'And tell Me about the first angel...... and the shepherds, and , and.........A sweet trip into the life of the Holy Family from a holy imagination. The little ones will enjoy your animated reading to them.

This is such a beautiful book! It is the story of the birth of Jesus, told to Jesus by his mother, Mary. I ended the story by telling my grand daughter about the events of her birth and how blessed and loved she is. I still remember her special smile..the blessing went both ways.

A beautiful story of a dad explaining what a blessing is to his daughter by means of relating it to Jesus' childhood.

Another awesome book by Neal Lozano. Beautiful depiction of the Holy Family, great lesson for every child, and wonderful example for parents of how to truly speak God's blessing to their children. Highly recommend!!!

My 2 year old (almost 3) son wants me to read it twice a night. Its a great message that tells the story of Jesus and leads to the blessing of your child. Beneficial for any parent.
