Have the white xbox 360 controller purchased as a wireless for pc product a few years back. The white receiver went out on me, and despite finding a few hack n' mod fixes online, I opted to purchase this as a replacement. After installing it using the method suggested, I've been able to connect the controller just fine, but once connected it disconnects every 5 seconds, then reconnects. I am running Windows Vista 32, and I do have a wireless mouse, keyboard, printer, and router. The thing is, I had all of these products with the original MS receiver and never had any issues. However, I'm still willing to believe this product is not up to Microsoft's standards in producing a product resistant to RF interference. Of the few posts I've found online that address this (or a similar) issue, one suggested purchasing a self-powered usb hub as this has too much draw and gets cut by the mainboard. Anyone have any tips I could go with? Any help is truly appreciated.
