Will this work on a mid 2007 imac ?

No. The 2007 iMacs use DDR2 memory. You can usually use faster speed ram in a older system but it still has to be the same type. DDR2 and DDR3 are not inter-changeable.

Go to Crucial.com/apple and complete the compatibility report to find your imac memory type.

I am not sure if it will fit. But if you go to crucial.com, put in the specs for your machine (you will need processor type), and it will tell you what will fit.
