Since there is only one charger/USB adapter for the Kindle made by Amazon, choosing the right adapter for your version of the Kindle only seems confusing. Any USB 2 adapter that allows you to connect a device via a USB 2 cable to a power outlet will work on any version Kindle since it is the device (in this case the Kindle itself) that determines how much power it will draw from the power outlet though the adapter and USB cable. The bottom line is that the Amazon 5W USB charger will work with all Kindle versions except the old 1st generation Kindle which was not powered through a USB cable.

I use the charger with my Paper White. May be best that Amazon Tech Support itself be the one to respond to your concern.

My best guess would be yes. It has a standard usb port so, if your kindle touch has a usb cable it should work.
