Will ths work on synthetic, as well as real corks?

Yup. It worked just fine on the synthetically corked bottle I opened.

Might have issues, I have read from the manual. It suggests old screw style tool for these if so. I personally have not used it on synthetic corks. Works fine on cork corks.

I attempted to use this wine opener on a synthetic cork and real cork and found the wine opener would not open either types of cork. I bought a $3 wine opener at the dollar store that works much better than this opener.

Yes, it removes the synthetic stoppers just as well as the natural corks!

Yes. I have used it on both. It stated that it may have trouble and take longer with synthetic corks, but I think it works great on both types of corks. I love this product!

It does NOT work on synthetic corks! Mine was a gift, so can't complain, but will buy one that works on all types of corks.
