I first saw Willard Gayheart's work at the Floyd Country Store in Floyd, VA and fell in love with it. I wanted to know more about this fascinating artist, and this little paperback book supplies the answers. Since I have about five Gayheart Limited Edition prints, I keep this book handy to share with guests. Gayheart is still living and plays Bluegrass music around Southwestern VA, so some of my friends even know him and enjoy paging through this book.

Mr Gayheart is a great artist and is able to "capture" the person in his art work. He lives in, works in and loves the Appalachian area and his art tells a story of the people.

I am interested in this book because a friend of mine wrote it. It is her first book. I thought it was very well done and most interesting. This man has a real gift and now because of Donia Eley the world knows of him and can appreciate his work!!
