3.0 out of 5 stars Love the writing style, hate the missing pages November 3, 2011

I ordered this book for one of my Occupational Therapy classes and I was instructed to read chapter 47. I found it kind of impossible to read chapter 47 since it started in the middle of chapter 46 and I was missing pages 497-528. I enjoy reading this book, but not the abundance of missing pages.

I had to purchase this book for a class in school, but I wish that I had saved my money! I found the content to be VERY basic.

2.0 out of 5 stars Missing pages/repeated pages April 20, 2010
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
The copy of the 11th edition I received had pages 353-400 printed twice in a row, which means pages 401-448 were missing. Hopefully the publisher will pull these copies out of circulation. I need to reorder, and hopefully the problem will be fixed on the next copy I buy. But, I just wanted any students out there to know to check these page numbers to make sure you didn't get a bad copy so you have time to get another book before classes start.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great July 8, 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I received this book in great condition and in good time. Although I needed this book for one class, I found this book to be resourceful for other classes.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's ok, but not as good as it could be. October 6, 2011
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This book is good if you're interested in learning about the concepts and principles of occupational therapy, but it doesn't really get into the assessment and dysfunctions you'll experience in OT. It's a good book though, even though it's huge and a pain to carry around. The chapters are EXTREMELY short (like 5-6 pages at the most) and it's an easy read.
