Good story, disappointing ending,

Ms Simms has a long list of books to her credit, and she is a talented author. This is a good story with good characters, but the ending is very abrupt and leaves quite a few unresolved issues and unanswered questions. I can only conclude that success has made her "lazy." Surely no first-time author would be allowed to get away with so many loose ends. I do not blame Ms Simms - I blame her editor for letting her get away with it. Too bad. This was my Suzanne Simms book, and I think it will be my last.
