Professor Percival's _William Blake's Circle of Destiny_ is a primer for all things Blakean. His chapter on Blake's characters makes the mythology transparent and accessible. His application of alchemical symbolism to Blake's work--Blake read Paracelsus widely--is elucidating and rich. Look for this book used at a retailer near you: It's a gem!
