I really wanted to like this product and overall it does what it's supposed to; however, if you don't have a need to brush oil a lot, it's more work than it's worth. After you brush your food with the silicone brush (which is so much nicer than the old bristle type), you dip it back into the oil reservoir. You end up carrying particles of your food back into the reservoir and essentially contaminating the oil there. The brush doesn't touch the bottom of the jar also and it's a challenge to get the brush into the oil if there's only a small amount of oil left in the jar. I've found it useful when brushing a large amount of food, but don't use it much unless I'm working with bigger quanities of food. It's more work than it's worth for small amounts, and if you don't use it regularly, the oil will go stale. I'm keeping it, but it has limited functionality for me.

I was so excited to get this in the mail. Its cute, great packaging and looks elegent. I wish the company made more jars like this!
