For those who cook a lot, or at least eat a lot of steak Diane, this electric pepper mill is quite a boon. It quickly grinds showers of fresh pepper at just the push of a button, without tiring hands. One thing to note about this grinder is that the motor and batteries are positioned at its top, which makes it a little top-heavy. It's best to keep it in the kitchen, letting it do what it does best: grind large quantities of pepper. William Bounds, a 30-year-old company, prides itself on never having had to replace a grinding mechanism because of wear, so count on this gadget lasting a while. --Maria Dolan

(Update: after several years or so, this mill fell apart. So did the one we purchased as a gift from our next door neighbor. So, we're still looking for a good electric mill...)
If you have never used an electric mill before, you are in for a treat if you purchase one. You will be surprised how much you will enjoy using only one hand and pressing a button. And, for a pepper lover like me, you save time, energy, and will avoid people staring at you grinding away... I bought several electric mills recently. This mill is far superior to the others I purchased. The design and construction are great...

It's hard to imagine that a product could be so handy in the kitchen. Freshly ground pepper brings out so much in the flavor of food and with the touch of a button, you have it. This Pepper Mill is a good quality machine that is easy to use and even has a handy light built in for the low light occasions. The William Bounds Stainless-Steel Electric Pepper Mill is an outstanding Pepper Mill for the money. You could spend a lot less and be frustrated with a lesser machine or you could spend a lot more and not really have anything better. The size and ease of use makes this Pepper Mill a great value.
