It really had promise...,

This book started out well and except for clumsy love scenes that appeared to be somewhat pasted on to the story, it kept my interest and was on its way to a 4-star performance. But the ending of the book was so over-the-top that it made the experience less enjoyable. I'm glad to have read it, but I would not call it excellent.

One Police Plaza and Suspects written by Caunitz were both great works to be kept as treasures. But BLACK SAND was a tasteless and boring read. I regret this once great author was dead..
