I purchased the GO AWAY door mat to curb all the solicitors who frequent my door. A day or two after I laid it out on the front step, I happened to be looking out the front window and saw some guy with a clipboard walking up my driveway. I'm expecting to hear the doorbell, but it din't ring! They guy turned around, headed back down the driveway & off to bother the neighbors instead! Produced the exact results I had hoped for. Money well spent :-)

This is probably the goofiest thing I've ever bought, but I'm so happy with it. Naturally my and my family are jokesters and no one takes this seriously. Really everyone wants to know where they can get one. It cracks up just about everyone that comes across it. No one ever sees something this clever anymore or someone brave enough to put it out there. I gotta say you've gotta get it. If your looking for more happiness in your life, maybe even a little spunk, don't be shy.

Although it's not feng shui by any means, this doormat aims to please. The fibers are very rough to the touch, but it's thick and good quality. It would be best as an outdoor mat (which if you read the mat, is it's obvious intention). No frills, it just gets to the point. Haven't had a solicitor since it's been placed at my front door. Haven't had any visitors either though......

My only disappointment was that the mat is already starting to fall apart and unravel around the edges..............

It is very thick which it nice...just check the size. its about 2/3 the with of a doorway.

We tried to replace our current doormat, but it dwarfed this thing when it came in the mail. I couldn't live with such a small mat so I just put it on top of it. Looks ok I guess.

My husband has always wanted a doormat that said "go away" on it. While reading a novel, I discovered that Shelby Foote had a doormat just like that. He mentioned it in the novel. I googled it and found that there was such a thing! Although this is not a high quality mat, it is quite a conversation piece.

Keeps eveyone away I dont want to deal with. Had it through the winter and one corner is starting to fray but I am satisfied and will eventually get another one just like it.

I laughed really hard when I first saw this welcome mat, or GO AWAY mat online and I thought to myself that I had to have it for my front porch. Unfortunately it doesn't work with the solicitors in the neighborhood and the Thai Dragon Cafe and the local pizza places still stick stuff on my front door. Deep down I knew this mat wouldn't steer them off but I had a slight hope that it might. Quality of the mat seems alright and seems pretty durable and so far, so good.

This is the 3rd one of these I have had. On average they last about 5 yrs. being outside. They are good quality and do the job.

We purchased this on Amazon when our old welcome mat was old and worn. Mat has good size and thickness and performs well for what is needed of it. The "Go Away" mat fits our personality. Some people don't pay attention to it, others give it a little chuckle when they see it. This has also done a nice job keeping away many of the solicitors away.
