What tone!, December 24, 2009

If you don't know Kanengiser, you're in for something special. Sure, you could read all the accolades and accomplishments, but hearing is believing. The musicality and execution are flawless. But what grabbed me was the tone he produces. As a performing and recording classical guitarist myself, I was blown away with the piano -like tone he gets from the instrument. The CD doesn't say which guitar he's using, but he did the program notes. Could be the Humphries Millenium. I bought it for the Decameron Negro, which is great, but love the rest too. Get it!
