Williams Sports entire golf product line utilizes Densimet for its weighting purposes. A by-product of the Williams F1 technology, Densimet is the second heaviest metal in the world. Williams uses Densimet in the FW32 racecar to bring the car up to the minimum race weight and to provide additional traction for the driver. Densimet is heavier than Tungsten and other materials traditionally used for weighting in the golf industry. By using Densimet, Williams Sports can maximize its design capabilities thanks to the reduced head-volume needed to create the same headweight when Tungsten or other materials are used. Inconel Based Construction:
Inconel is a nickel based material used by the Williams F1 team of engineers in their production of exhaust parts for the FW32 racecar. Because Inconel can maintain its structural integrity even under extreme temperatures it is typically used in machine or forging applications, and has been found to work exceptionally well for golf equipment. While Inconel maintains a higher tensile strength than stainless steel, it also provides a softer feel due to its nickel base, making it a great choice for golf.
