I am a librarian and I read cookbooks for pleasure. Sure, I can see them at the library, but there are a few that I just have to own. This is one of them. This whole Williams=Sonoma series is wonderful. I love the illustrations. Sometimes it is like drooling without the calories. I recommend this!!!

I returned this book after taking a look through the recipes. There wasn't anything in here that I would actually make. The only recipe in the whole book that I might consider making was the one on the cover. William Sonoma tries too hard to be super fancy with everything they do. I wasn't looking for anything too simple (weenies rolled in crescent roll dough) but I wasn't looking for over the top recipes like this book has either. Almost none of the recipes in here sounded good to me. Too much eggplant caviar and hake type things for me to be happy with.
