This book has good recipes for the beginner and advanced cook alike. It has dishes as simple as: "Grilled Rib Steaks with Asparagus" to more advanced dishes such as: "Roast Beef Tenderloin with Mushroom-Madeira Stuffing". All of them are good and well explained.

The photography and sidenotes are great.

If you know a hostess that keeps serving bland N.Y. Strips, give her this book.

Grilled Lamb Chops with Mint-Mascarpone Pesto
Pork Cutlets with Marsala-Apricot Sauce
Bistecca Fiorentina with Lemon Spinach

This book is a good, solid addition to any collection.

This book is full of scrumptious recipes for steak, pork, lamb, veal, ribs, sauces, marinades, rubs and cooking methods. Many beautiful pictures of mouth watering dishes I can't wait to cook and enjoy.

Loved this book. Great pictures. Love the side captions. Wiliam Sonoma does it right with these books. I own the entire collection and plan on having them for a very long time. Hopefully one day will be able to say I made every recipe in the book which seems possible. Some people my not like the limited number of recipes but I feel this is a great example of quality over quantity. Somebody really put some love in this book and it shows. Everything I have made so far has been great. Once you buy one you will want them all.
