This frame makes a lovely gift. The back of the frame and the stand are both beautiful, highly polished wood. The frame is packaged in a nice box and an anti-tarnish fabric envelope. Wasn't sure what to expect from sterling at such a low price, but I am very very happy with this item.

This is a really nice frame for the money. However, it is NOT an 8x10 frame. It is more like 7x9.5. If you want to put 8x10 photos in the frame, you will have to cut them to fit. Otherwise, the frame is lovely. The packaging on the inside of the box states that it is sterling silver bonded to aluminum (you only see the silver side), with a really lovely wood back.
