I saw him play live on Maui in a small night club. What I saw him play there was INCREDIBLE! This guy rips! I mean RIPS! What you hear on this album is nothing compared to what he can really do. In my opinion this guy should be much more famous than he really is. When he played live he did tons of cover tunes of Stevie Ray Vauhgan and the likes. TRUST ME!...he blows away Eddie Van Halen or any other guitar hero. He is very versitile. If only I could find his albums with those cover tunes.

I first heard Willie K's version of "O Holy Night" four years ago when visiting family in Hawaii and immediately fell in love with it. It has always been my favorite Christmas song. I also enjoy Willie's regular Hawaiian music and to have the two combined was a joy. His version of this song gave me chills (or as the Hawaiians say "chicken skin") and brought tears to my eyes. I loved this whole CD, but I would have bought it just to have "O Holy Night".

Excellent source for powerfully performed Hawaiian Christmas music.

Especially O Holy Night

Willie K is one of the greatest musicians in Hawaii. This Christmas album is truly unique and for those of us who live in Hawaii - it tells the story of Christmas the way we live it.

Willie K's version of O Holy Night is, IMHO, hands-down the absolutely BEST pop version of this song I've ever heard. He also sings a verse or two in Hawaiian and the instrumental back-up is superb. Worth the price of the whole album.

This is the best Christmas album ever. Willie K has the most amazing voice since Elvis.

I bought this purely on impulse last year at Kilohana in Redondo Beach...and it beat the pants off every other Xmas CD I've heard...Willie K's enthusiasm and delight in the holiday spirit are contagious. This year it's definitely going to be our company's holiday hold music ;-)

This album reflects the great versatility of Hawaiian songman, William Kahaiali'i. From Rock to Rigoleto, he is right at home. If he ever gets to your town for a concert, run don't walk to the nearest ticket counter.

Pomaika'i

Willie K is extraordinarily talented, and I really do like his music, but there were a couple of songs on this album that I thought were okay. Many songs were very good, but there were just a couple that I didn't particularly care for. That being said, it's still worth having. I ordered his other Christmas album (which is sold out right now), and I think I'll like that one better.

This is another treasured album, Hawaiian Style! Willie K is a great artist in all types of his recordings. You will play this every year to brighten your Christmastime spirit!
