Willow Tree Sign for Love Angel. Resin and metal. 5" high. Comes gift boxed. Since 2000, Susan Lordi has been creating these figurative sculptures that speak in quiet ways of deep emotion and inspiration. Artist Susan Lordi carves each original sculpture, then pieces are cast from her original carving in resin and individually painted by hand. Expression is conveyed by gestures only - a tilt of the head, a turn of the body, or placement of the hands. The simplicity of form and the absence of facial features signify Willow Tree. Emotions are left to the viewer to interpret, which makes them powerful and personal. It is Susan Lordi's hope that these pieces be meaningful to both the giver and the receiver.

Over the past few years since I graduated high school, its become tradition to get one of these figurines for my mom on christmas and her birthday. This one is one of her absolute favorites bc I speak sign language. Very inexpensive and its a gift anybody will love.

My mom collects angel figurines, so for Christmas this year I wanted to get her a few. Most of them looked really cheesy and cheap, until I saw these. They are very elegant and different. I've never seen an angel figurine like this before. The price is unbeatable, and free 2 day shipping with amazon prime was awesome. Personally, I am a little creeped out that none of these figurines have faces, BUT, I know my mom wont care lol. That's just me though. Aside from that I really LOVE these. There are so many to choose from too. I wanted to get a few more but want to make sure my mom likes this one first before I go buy 5 more.
