Novelization of 3 Buffy TV Episodes,
By Judah (Terre Haute In USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Willow Files, Vol. 1 (Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Pocket Hardcover Numbered)) (School & Library Binding)
I like Willow, and I was hoping the Willow Files would expand her character for me in new adventures, but instead I got to read the plot of Buffy Episodes I'd already watched on TV. They were decent adaptions, but I had expected new material, so the reading experience was only 'OK' for me. The author does do a good job with Willow as a character, but then so did Josh Whedon in the series. File 1 is "I Robot... You Jane" (Season 1-8) regarding Moloch the Corruptor and Willow's first internet date. File 2 is "Phases" (Season 2-15) regarding Willow's boyfriend Oz. File 3 is "Dead Man's Party" (Season 3-2) regarding an old Nigerian Mask, an episode that wasn't really that Willow-centric. Even in the 'Willow Files' she isn't in this story as much as Buffy. |
