Book Description

January 29, 2001 013679176X 978-0136791768
For two- or four-year undergraduate degree programs offering courses in Wills, Trusts, and Estates; also for courses in Estate Taxation offered by business, accounting, and finance departments. Specifically designed for paralegal students with differing objectives and varying levels of sophistication in the discipline--and recognizing that legal assisting programs vary widely in methodology. This interesting and highly understandable text helps readers learn the law as it concerns wills, trusts, and estates, and gives them a practical background that will assist them in the real world. Employing many forms and models throughout to help clarify concepts (with clear explanations of their use), it is keenly receptive to the needs of students as it presents a reading level simple enough for beginning students, but challenging enough for advanced students. It provides instructors self-contained chapters that are easily adaptable to suit many types of programs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wills, Trusts, and Estates, October 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
If you want an easy reading book that explains on a high level all aspects of wills, trusts, and estates, then this book is for you. It's written very well and explains the concepts in excellent detail. After all, it was written by a lawyer who specializes in this field of work. It's actually written for a paralegal, but it starts from the beginning as though you know nothing about the topic. This is an important topic and having this knowledge can only help you. Most people will need a will, and this book teaches you how to write one yourself, or if you work with a lawyer, how to insure that it's done in the most efficient way. Knowledge doesn't hurt. And knowing about wills, trusts, and estates can only be beneficial to you. It can help you avoid costly mistakes, too.
