This is SAE not metric,

Yes, this is advertised as metric but it is really SAE with the closest metric equivalent. There is too much freeplay to use this reliably. If you really want a metric sized wrench, I would recommend that you look elsewhere.

Nice item! Smaller size (14")to fit into your trunk. Good quality. (Made in China, like everything today...) Priced right! Recommend over factory supplied wheel wrench.

This is a must have,

Back in my younger, more energetic days, I used to stop a lot and help stranded motorists.
A lot of times, they just were not able to loosen the lugs with the crummy stock wrench that comes with vehicles these days. You can get great leverage with these and it can really get you out of a bind. you can actually stand on one end as long as you old the other and keep it perpendicular to the wheel so it does not slip off. Also, you can move the wheel around so you are always tigtening the top lug, thus, you can spin it fairly quickly and get the job done faster.

I used it to change out my tires for snow tires and it worked great. Easier to use than the lug wrench that comes with my van. It also fits in my wheel well of my Mazda5.

This is a little smaller than the lug wrench I keep in the garage, but its slightly smaller size makes it great for keeping in the trunk with your emergency tools. After almost ruining an expensive lug nut on a premium alloy wheel trying to loosen it with the crummy lug wrench that came with the car, I ordered a couple of these and put one in the trunk of each car so they would always be there. This wrench provides far better leverage than the factory supplied wrench, but not as much as my bigger 4-way wrench. A hint: wrap some plastic electrical tape around whichever arm fits your lug nuts. Then you don't have to keep checking to make sure you've got the right socket. The wrench is marked in both metric and US sizes, which are so close to each other that you don't need to worry about which kind to buy.

Very solid wrench. You really can't ask for more considering the price you pay. I'm going to buy another for in the garage.

I had to replace some lug nuts on my girlfriend's car and found they were slightly larger than the originals, and the stock lug wrench would not fit over them, so I got this. The originals were 17mm and the new ones were SAE 13/16", but the 19mm end on this fits those pretty good. It also gives a little more leverage than the stock wrench, though not quite enough to get the nuts off after they've been torque wrenched to hell by your local tire shop.. You need a real quality socket set + breaker bar to do that unfortunately. Despite the lame-looking weld in the middle, it didn't break or bend, even after jumping on it to try to free a stuck lug nut.Like other reviewers say, this isn't the most precision-crafted piece of equipment that has micrometer-exact sizes, but is pretty decent for the price.

I got it for $7.99 on June, 2011. It is perfect for my SUV and MiniVan. Handling is much easier than L-type wrench. If you have several cars or suv which have diffrent wheels, it is must have item.
