I saw Wilshire as an opening act and backup musicians for Michael W. Smith, and although I've probably seen 50 or 60 concerts in my life, this was the first time I ever saw an act that made me want to go out and immediately buy their album. Their songs have a very different flavor to them... something I can't quite figure out, but it's definitely different than anything I've ever heard before. The songs are carefully composed, with great emotion and purpose as well as interesting hooks and choruses. There are 1 or 2 songs that are only average, but everything else on this album is definitely a worthy addition to any music library. If you listen to the likes of Watermark, Out of the Grey, and Avalon, you'll LOVE Wilshire.

I think it's a great cd.(I'm only 12). I especially like the songs "over my head", "face" and "if I could".You have to get this great cd!

Wilshire's debut album is not a total let down, but is in no way a breakthrough in Christian music. Perhaps the best thing about this project is the lyrics. The words to the songs are both powerful and thoughtful, but most of the tunes just don't let this record live up to its potential. Take my advice, and buy it if you can a low sale price.

After listening to Wilshire, I think they did a great job, and I like them a lot. My favorite song is probably the first one, Over My Head, Ms. Innocance, and the last track. However, I think that their CD lacked a little something, though it is hard to put my finger on what that is. Maybe all the songs aren't unique enough? I don't know. But I recommend them!

When i first heard this cd i knew i was hearing real talent. The writing is really cool and the vocals of lori and micah rock(not to mention the cool music) I also heard that they have a new cd coming out which i'm sure is amazing. Anyway they rule!

Far and away the best song by Wilshire is "Special." I bought this album expecting something in that vein, and there simply wasn't anything. That's not to say that this album isn't pleasant (or even good occasionally)... but there's just nothing "Special" on here.

I saw this great duo in concert with Smitty in the fall. Their concert was really very good. Their cd is good too, but a little weake. They have GREAT harmonies, GREAT lyricks, I guess they are just a tad too soft for my taste, but other than that they are GREAT!

Wilshire is my absolute favorite group. Not that you should buy their cd just because I said so. Buy it because its good. The songs are well written and sung to perfection, not to mention the fact that they are a cute couple. I've seen them in concert twice and its even better live, if thats possible. I got the chance to meet them last week. It was an incredible experience. They truly are people after God's own heart. Its difficult to find a more dedicated group. If you still need convincing, write me.

I believe that it is a great debut album. I think that their songs are so awsome esp. "In this Moment". That song just blows my mind. I can't wait to see new albums from this group!

i think this new group and cd are great. i saw them in concert last night and ran out to get the cd. i like their lyrics and beat. i would suggest buying it too.
