This was the 1st year for my 9 year old daughter to play softball, so this glove caught alot of softballs playing catch in the backyard. This glove broke in relatively quickly, I did work with it alot. It held up well, and I plan on her using it again next year, unless I decide to buy her a larger glove. With the combination of price and construction, I'd have no problem buying another glove just like this one.

this is a good first mitt as it was already "flexible". It was a bit too small for my 12 year old daughter (5' 3") so we returned it. Another girl on her team had the same mitt and she was new to softball. It was a great mitt for her.
