4.0 out of 5 stars great glove for the money
I paid about $22 for this glove to use for my company softball team and am not disappointed. I have no idea how long this thing will last but its a cheap solution for anyone who needs a working glove to play catch or softball with. It arrives fairly soft already so it doesn't need to be worked in and it appears to be made from real leather. It also fits my hand just...

2.0 out of 5 stars okay for beginners,
This would be a pretty okay glove for a first-timer or something, but I would NOT recommend it for a competitive player or anything. It'll probably rip in a week. I only bought it as a really last minute glove because I couldn't find any others and it was cheap. And I've been using it for one softball season and it hasn't been broken it yet, but it's already ripping...

I have no idea how long this thing will last but its a cheap solution for anyone who needs a working glove to play catch or softball with. Pretty happy with a $22 glove to play non-competitive softball and catch with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Starter Glove, June 5, 2007
I recieved this glove a few weeks ago, expecting a half plastic, cheap feeling glove--typical for a glove under $50. What I recieved, really surprised me a Genuine Leather glove, it is a softer leather softer than that found in higher priced gloves, which actually makes it way easier to break in. The ProTech padding in the palm, makes harder throws feel painless and the ultra soft linging feels great on the hand. If you enjoy, catching with you index finger through the glove, Wilson has even added a 'control zone'-a suede like (more padding) area to their design. It also comes equipped with a two inch wide Velcro style adjustment strap that threads thru a steel loop, no plastic here. The two tone black on tan also makes for a very attractive mit. I would highly recommend this glove, for a recreational player, church group player or someone just new to the sport.

This is an awesome glove. I'm not the world's best player, but I think it makes me at least average. I caught an out the first day I used it. Very durable!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Nice Smaller Glove For Softball, February 21, 2009
This review is from: Wilson A360 Series 13-Inch Slow Pitch Glove (Sports)
Wilson's A0360 ES13 softball glove is an excellent glove for players who prefer a smaller, lighter glove. Strong ASO webbing makes catching easy and provides a nice pocket for the ball. The padding is also excellent. The glove also features soft leather that breaks in relatively easy with just a bit of glove oil.

Some complain about the glove's size, but a thirteen inch glove is sufficient for softball, especially when it has a deep pocket like this one. The glove is also pretty sturdy, and will be just fine for recreational play.

You can't complain about the price either. You can buy more expensive (and better) gloves, but for weekend and recreational play, and playing catch with your kids, this glove is a perfect catch.

This is not one of those plastic gloves that will never break in. As soon as I pulled it out of the box it had movement and flexibility. I put a little oil in the palm and it's perfect. Deep pocket and padded palm makes it great for outfield play. Like I said, not one of those plastic gloves. I am happy with my purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Glove for the Price - BAD Amazon listing., March 11, 2011

Great glove for the price, though I can't use it (this is where my complaint comes in).

As to how Amazon lists the item should be clearer if it's for the right of left hand. As of the time I purchased this glove, they don't really make it clear if it's for the right hand or left hand, instead they used Right Orientation or Left Orientation. Which means what? Does it mean if I would wear the glove on my right or left hand? Or does it mean if I throw with my left or right hand? Thinking the obvious that it would be asking where I would wear the glove I purchased the LEFT orientation. There you have it a glove for my RIGHT hand :(

For those people reading this. I'm not a ball player so I wasn't familiar how they used the "orientation" term in describing baseball gloves. I just wanted to play catch with my daughter.

Good new thought. Amazon did update the listing to say RIGHT/LEFT HAND THROW. But you'll only see this info in your cart.

This glove is great for casual softball games at the park with friends and family. It is a good value for the cost. If you are playing in a rec league or more cometative league, get a higher quality glove. Also, if you have large hands/long fingers, you may want to get a different glove. I have very long fingers and the glove is a tad small for me.
Overall, great glove for the price for low-key softball playing and playing catch.
