Review for Wilson ci7,
This review is from: Wilson Staff Ci7 Irons (Sports)
I bought these clubs as my game got better. I had a set of Taylor Made RAC OS 2. I felt if I could consistently hit the sweet spot on those, I needed a set to be able to work the ball and control distance better. The Taylor Made's seemed to balloon on me some times. These really have a good ball flight, and the long irons are easy to get up in the air. The short irons are kind of clunky, but just take some getting used to. They have more of a click at impact opposed to a thud that super-game improvement irons seem to provide. I would buy these if you are a mid-handicap and are looking for an affordable set of irons that will help everyone at any level.

great irons for the price,

Before buying these i was using titleist acushnet irons which were made in the mid 70's (still great irons). I picked these up for a grand total of $270 with the 105 light steel shafts and my iron shots are much better. I also like the grips they come with. I gained 1-2 clubs in distance over the antique titleist irons and a little more forgiving sweet spot. Ive had much less slicing and hooks but ive had a pushing problem lately which i dont blame on the clubs. My only complaints about the clubs is maybe too light of a shaft but sometime in the future i might use lead tape. And also my order said it was 3-gw but i didnt get a 3 just a 4-gw. I dont mind especially for what i payed. overall i love these and everyone on the course admires them, even if they have a much more expensive set.

My iron play has never been better. Forgiving yet agile enough to shape shots if you want.

These irons are great for anyone from 5-18 handicap. My previous
irons were Callaway X-12. These are as good or better. The graphite shafts are much better quality than the Callaway graphites, which are some of the cheapest shafts made. I've gotten good ball flight, and playable misses with these. I am a 15 handicap. Ignore the review from the "about" a 7 handicap. He probably can't break 100 from the ladies tees.

Great irons, great feel, almost a club longer than old callway x-16. Definite bargain.

I'm about a 7 handicap, and was looking to break away from the Ping line. I've used Ping eye2, Ping Zing 2, Ping G10. Based on the ridiculously good reviews all over the internet on these, I bought them and eagerly headed to the driving range. They felt too long, too light, and really had a "cheap" feel to it. I returned them after a couple driving range sessions.
