I have been a Titlelst guy for a long time however....I picked up a lost ball one day (Wilson Staff 50 Elite) ball and found Nirvana. This ball has a fantastic feel from tee to green. Just the right amount of softness, excellent control and for those of us who are broke homeowners very durable (providing you stay outt the "Lumberyard" (for you Caddyshack fans)and a much more reasonable price than most golf balls on the market.

My only complaint, with all due respect to Amazon, I wish I could buy it locally at the sporting goods store, (nobody seems to carry Wilson Staff Products in the Washington DC Metropolitan area) however....thanks to Amazon I have it delivered right to the front door

If you are looking to try out a new ball, give the Wilson Staff 50 Elite a try. I think you will like it.

This ball is great. I've shot some of my best scores with it. It was hard to find lately. Not your usual golf stores sell them anymore. I'm glad I found them at amazon, and great price to go along. I'll be ordering more in the future

Love these balls for the money. No need to hit a Pro-V with our average hack handicaps, this ball is soft and still launches well off the club face and when hit into the water it has a rewind button and comes back to you while removing the stroke from your score....I Wish....it just doesn't hurt as bad to lose a $1 ball vs. a 5 or 6 dollar ball. IT still plays great.

I use hard golf balls, because the course I play is long. But always had trouble on short 'feel' wedge shots. Now with these balls I get the hardness I need to really launch my drives and the feel I need around the greens.

As a senior golfer, my swing speed averages between 75-82 mph. I need a 50-compression ball, and the Wilson Fifty Elite fills the bill perfectly. I get decent distance (Heck, I'm thrilled anytime I drive the ball more than 200 yds and it stays in the short stuff!) and still can control my short game. My golf coach pointed out once that in order to remain consistent, find one brand/model of ball, and use that exclusively. Her advice has paid off in lower scores, and so I will continue to use the Wilson Fifty Elite for as long as I can get it in orange.

This is one of the few remaining golf balls manufactured in bright orange. I can see this ball in flight better than any other color, and it is so much easier to find when it heads for the trees, rough, backyards...and best of all, when paired with my green putter face, I'm representing Ireland! (Added bonus: when I'm wandering in the woods looking for my lost ball, I can amuse my playing partners by emulating the Tom Hanks character in the movie, "Castaway".)

These balls are indeed becoming increasingly difficult to find in local retailers, so buying them in quantity through Amazon is a great strategy.

I play golf badly. I am an extremely high handicap. I got into looking at golf balls for my skill set. Within the bounds of how bad or good you are, I believe this golf ball does what is claimed. A 50 compression isn't as soft as one might think, but it is definitely softer than a lot of the balls I currently use. It does help straighten your shots assuming your not hitting a 30 yard slice. Even at that, it seemed to take a little off even the most extreme slices. As for distance, I normally end up in the same place all the time. With this ball I honestly got 10-15 more yds on my drives. My irons stink, so I am not sure if they were any longer. Compared to distance balls I have been playing, this does seem to have them beat for me.

I need low compression golf balls and these fit the bill. Low cost, low compression and great performance. A this price was expecting these to be rocks but was pleasantly surprised otherwise. Great product at a great price. Wilson doesn't get enough recoginition for all their golf products

i at one time in my golfing life thought that i had to do research on the many golf balls that are on the market, to find the perfect one for my swing speed, skill level, etc. I'd spent hours reading golf magazines and online reviews, and i'd talked to salesmen at the golf stores. But one salesman told me one time, all the balls are really highly engineered marvels of technology, why don't you buy the cheapest balls that you can find? These go for a dollar a ball, and they're great. i've tried other cheap balls, and some of them feel really hard, they sound weird when you hit them, and you have no feel for anything. These balls here feel soft, and they really fly far. After passing 50 years of age, I switched to the orange ball because I just had a hard time finding the white balls, especially when i hit in the not so short grass, these are my favorites, and i've paid $40+ for golf balls and have tried them all.
