After my nephew tore the bag on my old one (20 yrs old) a received this one as a gift. After 3 uses, the balls get jammed in the tube and the metal prongs have already bent. The plastic tube is of such poor quality that I just pick the ball up as opposed to breaking the tube. Everything is plastic and is of cheap quality. Look for an aluminum handled and aluminum tubed one. This plastic thing is absolutely JUNK!!!

This product sounds great, however feels cheap and doesn't really work as advertised. Some balls even get stuck sliding through the tube. Very frustrating to use; after 2 days, I returned and purchased a real "original" shag-bag and have been happy since.

Very poorly executed. The tube is too small and if you get some sand or dirt on the balls they jamb. I returned mine. Someone at Wilson should have tried this for 20 minutes before they put it on the market.

As one person stated before some balls get stuck in the tube and you have to take it apart and cram something through it to get it out. The dispense part does not work well because after you empty the balls in the tube the balls from the bag don't free flow back into the tube. Terrible purchase in my opinion. I took it back.

This shagger lasted about two weeks before bending and breaking. It can't handle average use. The metal tongs bent and won't either pick up the balls or hold them inside the tube. This is a low quality product.

I have purchased two of these shaggers. I have looked at other shaggers but this as easy as any and, when hitting the balls, delivers the balls with an efficient and easy mechanism. The handle has come loose a couple of times from the bag but I just inserted a lock washer and then had no problem. It is necessary to shake the bag up and down at times to have the golf balls fall into the delivery tube. If they had a crank turn mechanism inside, it may solve this problem. Over all, I have enjoyed using this shagger to practice my golf game. I don't think there is a better one on the market.

the tubing needs to be a little larger , some balls get stuck which means you need to jamb a rod in the tube to unblock it , this happens way too often for my liking

The whole concept is 100% on target. It offers a relaxing opportunity to feed balls to the turf and pace yourself while practicing. However due to the internal design the balls do not feed down the tube in continues fashion. A lot of time is wasted having to pick up the bag and shake it to get the balls to feed into the tube. Wilson could have designed the lower round plastic base with a smooth tapered molded part. Instead the molded part is flat and has mold ribbing to give the part added strength. In my opinion the mold ribbing part should have a tapered design with the reinforcement ribbing on the outside of the part (no one cares what the bottom of the bag looks like) and a smooth tapper inside the bag. The balls would most certainly feed better. I am hopeful that Wilson will make that adjustment before someone else does. Also the spring steel used in the ball pickup is two thick (needs to have more flex. Spring steel used on this model requires the operator to exert great downward force to pickup balls. Causing the balls to plug during each attempt made to pick up the next ball. I am a US patent holder and I know a little about un-refined products and that is just where this product is. A GREAT IDEA - JUST NOT FINISHED.......

I purchased this golf ball shagger for my husband as a Father's Day gift. But I had to give it to him early to use when he went out to the driving range this week. He was so pleased with it. And after using (said it sure did save his back) he said that I could not have given him a better gift. He was well pleased with it and said that it was just the thing to use when out on the range. He was able to carry his golf balls in it and was pleased with everything about it. He said that it was well worth the money I spent.

I bought a new one at a garage sale for 3 dollars.

I also got a ball stuck in the tube.
The flexible prongs are already bent.

I wasted 3 dollars. :(
