Yes, this ball will improve your game by a lot. But this ball is very spoiling. Once you start playing with this ball, all other balls will not have that same feel, so your shot will be different. Yes, some will say who cares what kind of ball it is, if you have a good shot you have a good shot. But in reality, the feel of the ball affects the way you shoot. And this ball has incredible feel. Just be aware that once you get accustomed to shooting this ball, you might have a hard time going back.

AWESOME Basketball. I have never seen anything like this ball. It has a great grip, and is soft to the touch, but what really makes this ball unique is the "wave style" This gives the shooter a really good feel and enhances rotation. I understand that this is a regulation ball approved for highschool play. Only downside is that if this is the ball you practice with, but not use in a real game, it might give you a disadvantage to go back to a regular ball. You can certainly find less expensive basketballs, but if you want a really good ball, I would recommend the "WAVE"

This is one of my favorite basketballs. Initially picked it up in a store, and fell in love with the grooves. Has a nice grip that will help shooting and ball handling. Ball has a great feel to it. Amazon's price beat in-store price. I coach a youth team and they are drawn to this type of ball. I also have a 28.5 size basketball that I purchased in a store. Get it.

The only thing I can say about this is that you won't believe it until you play with it. The ball MAKES YOU BETTER.

Wilson's WAVE technology adds a bunch of extra channels to the ball. Even though we all naturally rotate the ball in our hands to find a channel before we shoot, this one let's you do it much quicker. Your release time is better on shots (at least mine is). I'm getting less shots blocked, and the surface helps my ball handling a lot. (I'm not a great dribbler).

I always thought that good basketballs were all pretty similar. This one makes a difference. It's really easy to switch to this ball, and my whole game got better - I have more control on both offense and defense, and my shooting percentage is up.

It is hard to believe with all the balls on the market there can be a new product that is really bettter. I coach a JV team and they love this ball. Great grip makes it feel better for shooting and dribbling. It has the NFHS logo which means it is acceptable for game play at the High School level.

These basketballs were purchased to be used by my sons junior high basketball team. They were thrilled to receive them and they cost about $20 less than at any sporting goods store.

I'm really shocked by all the good reviews this ball is getting. I admit I do like the feel and grip of the ball. Soft, but not too soft. Good grip without too much grip. But the waves are just too odd. Ball feels lighter than other balls and the feel is very different. I play indoor ball with a group of guys and our Nike game ball is wearing out and this was first comparable grip ball with a nice feel. But the grooves are too odd, messes with your shot and the group (and even myself) didnt want to use it as a game ball. So if you're lookin for a fun shoot around ball this may be good, but most think it's too different for a game ball.
