I got Wilson just a week or two ago. Since that time, I've gotten very little sleep. He talks all night long. At first it was nice to finally have someone to talk to, but now he won't be quiet. He keeps giving orders: "Take me outside", "Play with me", "Steal that car." And, he has a pretty smart mouth, always talking back to me.

I think if you put Wilson back in his box at night, he might sleep some.

I don't know about recommending this for children, he'll probably teach them to be very sassy, but if you're all alone, at least he can give you someone to talk to.

Great Novelty item - Loved Wilson in the film Cast Away - nearly cried when he floated away and was lost. Now he is home - any fan of the film will love this, very quirky and cute. There is no way this ball will be used he is just for show. Love it.

He isn't talking to me yet but I know he will. I keep asking him for Helen Hunt's telephone number. I am beginning to wear Wilson down. I can tell. Tell me Wilson or I will spike you again. ha hahahahhahaha evil laugh.

Well this Volleyball isnt just a great movie prop for fans but also great for actually playing. It's nicely padded and to fill the ball is in the middle of Wilson's mouth.
Only thing is it pick up grass stains or scuff when you go hardcore.

Picture of product is not as shipped. Should contain the black plastic piece (used to pump air into the ball) but it is not included. Makes his face look a little off, with just a hole there where the black plastic piece should be.

My husband and I went to a "Shipwrecked" costume party, and Wilson was the hit! My husband wore a FedEx shirt, had an ice skate around his neck, and carried a couple of extra FedEx boxes. Everyone loved Wilson!

My children bought me Wilson for Christmas and he is the best. I love the feel of him and he looks so wise. So happy, I can now watch Castaway knowing he has found a loving home with me. I promise to care for him and never yell at him in anger (like some other person). Wilson is truly home.

I had wanted one of these 'Wilson' Castaway volleyballs for quite a while and finally ordered one from Amazon. It arrived very fast and was everything I expected. What a wonderful way to remember my favorite Tom Hanks movie! It is perfect! If you loved the movie 'Castaway', you must get this 'Wilson' volleyball! The only thing I didn't understand is why it was shipped via UPS. Everyone knows that 'Wilson' only travels on FedEx! :)

Wilson has been the hit of our front counter since he arrived. I love that they still stock these after so many years.
