The author of this book was the doctor that treated me after my diagnosis of Wilson's Disease. The book is easy to understand and up to date with all of the info one needs. Since Wilson's disease is very very rare, many doctors may steer you down the wrong road when it comes to treatment. In most cases you should simply follow your doctor's advice, but with Wilson's disease a mistake can make a huge difference in your quality of life for the rest of your life. Some of the drugs used to treat this condition have irreversable side effects.
