The product is great, i have tried it last year when i bought it from a shop, however should be bought from a shop and NOT SHIPPED BY COURIER.
i received 4 packs separately and ALL OF THEM WERE BROKEN due to shipping - total disappointment.
the gingerbread parts of the house are wrapped around a carton which fixes them in places, however there is not cushioning whatsoever to protect them from shipping shaking/handling ...

I bought these kits for a gingerbread house competition. Everyone was very pleased with the kits. None of them arrived broken. The icing mix was simple and held the house together very well.

We ordered several of these. Most came with broken walls. We used three and managed to put together one complete house that wasn't broken. We'll not try these again.

This was so worth the money! My kids had so much fun decorating this house. We are going to buy one every year! The prebaked gingerbread is so great. The pieces were very durable - even when my 2 year old dropped them, they didn't break. The icing mix worked very well and kept all of the candy in place. At first, I didn't think there would be enough candy to decorate the house, but there was more than enough. It came out so cute! We didn't actually eat the house - just used it as a display so I don't know how it tasted. Ovewrall, very fun project for a family to do on a weekend.
