I always bought Wilton Parchment paper as I am an avid baker and I appreciate good quality. A few months ago I could not find this product in the store and so I bought the "grocery store brand" of parchment paper. It's a good thing I still had the empty dispenser for it. Why? Because I recently went back to the Wilton brand and could not open the dispenser. They apparently have changed it to a cheap dispenser. My husband saw me struggling to open it and offered to open it for me. To our amazement neither of us could open it without tearing apart the entire box. Wilton has decided to make a cheaper dispenser box in an effort to save money. I took the roll of parchment paper out of the box and put it in the "grocery store brand" box that I had saved. What a cheap trick for Wilton to cut back on quality in an effort to save money. Also, the parchment paper looks much cheaper than it use to. It looks more translucent so I assume they made it thinner than what it use to be. Wilton has lost a customer as of now. I will go back to buying the Meijer brand parchment paper which is thicker and cheaper. It also has a better dispenser. I gave this product 2 stars because the paper is OK. Just OK. Goodbye Wilton, too bad you had to get greedy...

I'm huge on using parchment as it saves a lot of washing when baking or cooking. This is about the fourth type I've used because I generally buy in bulk when I find one I like. I was very satisfied with it and the tear off thing worked great. It was cheaper per sq foot than the larger package and I feel it was a good deal.

I bought this item at my specialty supermarket. I would say I am not a novice at baking but I have a long way to go to make professional pastries. Since using the parchment paper, my cookies bake more evenly. The parchment paper comes in a roll with a edge to tear (think of an aluminum roll) it is suppose but to convenient but its such a hassle. The cutting edge is dull and the paper tends to slip so there is never a clean even cut. This urks me to no avail, since have to resort to using scissors, what a waste of time. Another thing, since its a roll and not a sheet, the paper never seems to lay completely flat on the cookie sheet, resulting in aggravation on my behalf. Overall I won't be buying parchment paper in rolls again, I will invest in the re-usable type which once cut lays flat on the cookie sheet.

This was my first time buying this brand of the parchment paper and it caused such a frustration just to get the paper out of the box. Consider the dispenser box disposable. It was just impossible to carefully open the box without tearing it apart. And the parchment paper is very thin compared to the Reynold's paper. Personally, I would give it no stars.

Love this parchment paper. I have tried other brands, and always have problems with sticking when baking. This releases from even the stickiest doughs with absolutely no problem.

I thought parchment paper was so that your baked items do NOT stick to your pan. This parchment paper everything sticks to. Will never purchase again!

I'm so glad I found this Parchment Paper here at Amazon. I use it a lot
with my cookies, biscuits, french bread, etc. Almost no clean up when
you use the Parchment Paper. So easy to lift the cookies off the paper
with no sticking. My homemade biscuits don't stick either. Great
time saver.

I set out to order Parchment Paper from Amazon, so I did. Shortly after, this arrived at my door in the same white-and-purple package you see in the thumbnail. The entire reason I bought this was because Lifehacker.com said I should use this to wrap my cheese in, instead of the plastic it's usually wrapped in.
MY OH MY, how they were right!

This isn't a reflection on this brand of paper, but again, I'm hardly a parchment connoisseur.
This stuff must be powered with magic, because the cheap store-brand cheese blocks I used to eat have been transformed into a slightly less cheap-tasting and much longer lasting food. It's nothing short of amazing. When I used to store my cheese bricks in the plastic seal they arrived in, after a few days they'd taste all... sour? Kind of an ammonia flavor, and far from enjoyable. This magic paper, on the other hand, AGES the cheese as it was meant to be. I don't pretend to be a dairy-scientist, so I don't know why this less-protective, porous sheet of thin paper is better. I had assumed that my cheese would start tasting like all of the other foods around it in my fridge stuffed with leftovers and purple drank and who knows what else. I was wrong. After a few days the cheese would get darker and harder around the edges, and I had assumed the jig was up and I'd traded ammonia for hard or moldy, but because Lifehacker rarely steers me wrong, I took a tasty leap of faith and was rewarded. It tasted like cheese, just harder. Not solid, just less mushy--like what you'd see at a fancy Italian restaurant where they grate the cheese right onto your dish.
However small and insignificant this cheesy revelation may be, it has changed my life for the better. Thank you, Lifehacker and Wilton Parchment Paper.
