I have used what I thought were good bench vises for years on our farm, only to have them fail in some way or another. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a good vice made by Wilton. To my surprise, Amazon.com handled them very reasonably in price and even though it weighed over 70 pounds UPS shipped it to me for free. I am very happy with my heavy duty vise and who would have believed you could get an industrial tool from a book store?
