I purchased this item from a local big box hardware store, it was the last Wilton they had and the box was a bit damaged. When I got home I inspected the contents and found some missing parts. I contacted the hardware store and they could not find the missing items so they recommended to call the WMH Tool Co. The response from the WMH Tool Co service people was immidiate and very helpful. They offered and sent a whole new planer to replace the one I had purchased. I received the new planer in 4 business days. The setup of the table was very easy and the instructions were simple to follow.

The planers blades were set properly at the factory and the product is working great. As for snipe, I've reduced it by doing exactly as the manual suggests, use guides in the front and back of the planer tables and keep the board as level as possible when the board is entering and exiting the planer. There is just no way to get around snipe, I've used 20" planers costing thousands of dollars and they also had snipe.

All in all for the price this is pretty good home/small woodshop planer.
