The Wilton Comfort Grip Cookie Cutters are THE BEST cookie cutters!!! They are stainless steel so they're dishwasher safe!!! They won't rust or tarnish. They have a good weight to them, are NOT flimsy, and will not bend or loose shape. They cut through cookie dough very easily creating a perfect shape. These cutters make a good sized cookie, approximately 4" in size. The rubber comfort grip is an added bonus! When you apply pressure to the cutter to cut through the cookie dough, the comfort grip will cushion your hand and keep it from getting tired and hurting. This is especially helpful if you are making a lot of cookies at one time.

These cookie cutters have become so popular that the older "retired" shapes have become "collectable." I own most of the shapes that Wilton has made so far and they have been well used. They still look "brand new," eventhough some are from the early 1990's. I will be passing these onto my children some day, and I'm sure they will enjoy them as much as I do now. The shapes are good designs that will always be popular for cookies.

I highly recommend these!!!There is nothing I dislike about these cookie cutters!!! In fact, I wish there were more shapes available!!! I prefer these to my expensive copper cookie cutters!!! Not only are these easier to maintain but, they cost considerably less than the copper ones. These cookie cutters are very reasonable priced for the quality. You will not be disappointed with this purchase!!

I love this shape. I ordered it specifically to make a white pound cake with pink hearts imbedded throughout the center. Choose two loaf pans, two sizes where the first one will fit inside the second. First cake, will be a pink-tinted pound cake in the smaller loaf pan. Let it cool and cut it into slices. Put each slice flat and cut the heart shapes out of each slice. Set them together, as if they're a heart-shaped "loaf" and set aside.* Now, make the white batter for a second pound cake (in the larger loaf pan, which will be the size of the final cake). Pour a thin layer of the white batter into the bottom of the larger loaf pan. Set the pink heart-shaped "loaf" onto the thin layer of white batter. Next, pour the white batter all around the four sides surrounding the pink heart "loaf" and over the top of the hearts - don't pour white batter between the pink heart-shaped slices). Bake it like normal. If you did it correctly, you won't see the heart shapes until you cut into the cake. Make a thin confectioner's sugar and milk frosting and drizzle it over the cooling cake. It came out great and everybody wanted to know how I did it! The cutter is excellent quality and the rubber-type grip on the top makes it very easy to use. I was especially impressed with how the deep sides allow you to use a thicker dough than a lot of cookie cutters. Next time I'll make cookies! *All the leftover pink cake was mixed with sugared strawberries and whipped cream!
