2.0 out of 5 stars unmolds great but leaves a plastic taste September 15, 2007
This pan will make unmolding a bundt cake sooo easy but everywhere the batter bakes in direct contact to the pan will have a distinct bad plastic taste. I know it's silicon and it shouldn't impart a taste, but believe me it really does. I've tried 2 different cakes (one box and one from scratch) and the taste was bad enough that we tossed the whole cake into the garbage, so beware...

1.0 out of 5 stars Save your money! January 17, 2008
I bought this pan in hopes that I would easily be able to remove cakes without them sticking, like in a regular Bundt. The problem with this pan is that the cakes never bake all the way through and have a weird consistency. I have tried varying temperatures and times, as well as recipes, but nothing works. The cakes are always mushy in the middle and kind of spongy on the outside. Finally today I just gave up and threw the pan in the trash along with another ruined cake. Good in theory, but this pan just doesn't work! I wish I'd saved my money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great pan!! December 29, 2007

I really enjoy using this pan. The cake came out so easily I was shocked! And it was a snap to clean up. I didn't have the same problem as the other reviewer with the mold leaving a bad taste. I did make sure to clean mine very well before I ever used it with hot soapy water. I would recommend this product!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for a bundt pan April 10, 2009
I baked a rum cake in this, and unlike the previous reviewer, I had no problem getting it out of the an at all. I sprayed it with Wilton Easy Bake spray, and floured it. I baked it on a cookie sheet just so it wouldn't be wobbly and the bottom would be baked evenly and not have any "oven" marks. Worked like a charm! Can't wait to bake with it again! :D

1.0 out of 5 stars strange taste, not easy to remove October 9, 2011
I am glad to see that others had problems with this pan. My cake broke apart, did not cook evenly, and the parts of the cake close to the silicone tasted strange. I'll try the pan one more time, and use oil and flour to coat the pan, instead of just cooking spray. But I have a feeling this pan his headed to The Goodwill store.
