Wilton's Done It Again!,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Wilton Easy Flex Silicone 8 Inch Square Pan (Kitchen)
As an avid baker, I'd been wary of the whole silicone trend, but when I saw this one on sale, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try it, right? And I'm glad I did. Not only did it stand up to the oven's temps, the cake release was easy, with no lingering cake pieces as can happen when you don't cool a metal pan long enough before flipping. And clean up was a snap! I would recommend this to anyone who likes to bake!

Cheaper than other brands and just as good. Things come right out, no baking paper necessary, easy to clean. I bought two round and two square, and I make double or more of whatever I'm baking, and freeze the extra. Excellent investment.

1-15-2012These are still holding up like when they were new. no warping, still releases the candy when it cools. I still would highly recommend these pans. the Blue Wilton line of silicone has done very well for me --- I purchased a few of these in search of a way to streamline my candy making as I sell them. Before i was lining a pan, then greasing the lining and it was just a hassle. Now when I make my caramels I don't even have to grease the pan I just pour the syrup into the silicone pan and let it set up and it unmolds perfectly. These are very durable and take great temperature changes. I pour the syrup into the pan at 245 degrees and it hasn't affected them yet. Highly recomended. Though I have not used them for actual baking. |
