I'm not a fan of Wilton pans, because they typically are harder to assemble than Kaiser pans, and not as durable. This one at least is non-stick, although I would still recommend spraying it lightly with some Pam.

My chief complaints about this pan:

1) It's very small. The 4" size is cute, but at less than 2" tall, it makes a rather small...

I got these pans at an amazing $20 for 6 on another site late 2006.I have regretted so many times not purchasing about 4 other sets!

I make cheesecakes as a side line business, and these pans always make great, perfectly browned medium sized cheesecakes. The cheesecakes always come out so easily from the pans. I always wrap the base in foil and bake over a pan of water to get the best out of these pans.
One other reviewer complained of the size, but that is definitely not a problem if you would like an adorable cheesecake that would serve two persons comfortably.
I bought these together with another MEDIUM sized cheesecake pan, and this one by far excels in quality! I have used it for more than a year, and there is no signs of wear or tear . They look brand new!

I have not tried making anything else with this pan, but I know I will be making many more cheesecakes using these. The are my absolutely favourite pans in the kitchen. You will not regret purchasing them!

I am going to use this to make mini "conversation heart" cakes for valentines day. Love the pan, but both times I have use it, it has leaked so I have to make sure I put it on a tray in the oven.

My chief complaints about this pan:

1) It's very small. The 4" size is cute, but at less than 2" tall, it makes a rather small dessert.

2) If you put the bottom of the pan in correctly, your crust/bottom of your dessert will be 1/8" below the sides of the pan. So unless you grease it well or freeze the dessert before removing it from the pan, you're going to lose your crust. You also get a slight indentation with the crust, which looks weird (the cake hangs a little over the edge of the crust). Also, because extra butter or other moisture won't leak out a little, your crust is likely to be soggier than you'd expect.

If you put the bottom in upside down (I do this for cheesecake), you won't have this problem, but your pan might leak. Be sure to spread your crust to the edges and press it tightly to ensure there aren't any gaps.

3) It doesn't clean well. Little bits of crust and batter get into the grooves, and a toothpick barely fits in to dig that out. If the butter in your crust does leak, it will get stuck in the grooves and doesn't wash out easily. I found this out after putting one pan away (I have several of these), because the residue leaked out in the cabinet. If you soak it to get this stuff to ease out that way, you might get some rust. I bought several of my pans through an auction, and the previous owner claimed to have used them once, but many of them had rust on them.

4) When you release the clasp fully, the sides of the pan can completely separate, and you'll have to guide it back in. When this happened, I noticed that some batter was between the adjoining sides, and had to clean that out too. In one of the nine pans I bought, the spring on a brand new one was faulty and kept popping. Luckily, I discovered that before putting any batter in!! That would have made a huge mess in my oven.

I sell cheesecakes, so I have to have novelty pans like this, but otherwise, I wouldn't bother with this pan. The novelty is fun, but not worth it unless you LOVE heart-shaped stuff. I had previously bought Wilton's full-size heart springform pan and sent it back after one use. I just wish Kaiser made the novelty pans!

I was just looking for a small LOVE shape cake pan, for making mini cake for my boy friend's birthday, since we don't eat to much cake, this item arrived fast, and it looks pricey, high quality, and most important thing is it's just right size for two person desert, if you are single or couple or only the cake lover in the family, this cake pan is make for you.

I bought this with another cake pan so I could get the free Super Saver Shipping. It's okay. It is somewhat expensive for it's size. The side and bottom don't fit snugly. There is very little you would make with this little pan. It was an impulse purchase that proved to be a waste of money.

My baking really isn't good enough for a large amount of leftovers.

This is tiny. Baking time is longer than for a cupcake.

I made chiffon cake in this and it was a lot of fun but the sides as well as the bottom should be greased.

When i order it i didn't imagine is so small, it's to make a cookie for 1 person. And the lid is the same thing with the bottom of the pan. So the only time that you can use the lid is after you put the pan ( with the cookie ) on a plate, because you don't have the bottom of the pan anymore.
