Wilton Nonstick 12-Cavity Mini Donut Pan

I made the mistake of choosing this donut pan over the 6 cavity pan, with the assumption that it was truly going to make mini donuts. I was a bit taken aback by what I received. This will make MICRO-donuts. Each cavity is approx 1 3/4" across. They are smaller than any mini donuts I have ever seen. I would need to put 3-4 pans in the oven at once to make it worthwhile, but I refuse to spend $30-40 to do so. It can, however, easily fit in the toaster oven! The pan is only approx 7" w x 10" l. It'll take forever to make enough to use up the batter, though. If it was any smaller, I could have recommended it for an EZ Bake oven!

Frankly, I think it may be much better suited for making candy...

We purchased this product to make gluten-free donuts. We were pleased with the pan and my 10 year old daughter used the recipe that came with the pan to make gluten-free donuts. She used our own gluten-free flour mix and we cooked them in a toaster oven. Easy removal and clean-up.

The mini donut was easy to use and clean. It made fun mini doughnuts that I had fun decorating with the kids and they are a great size for little hands. Good size for toaster ovens.

I have a bunch of these Wilton pans and they always work great....although, like most teflon based kitchenware, I still have to use an oil spray to prevent sticking. But used with a spray, whatever you bake in these pans pops right out! Just be sure to get rid of any dough that might be stuck in the pan before refilling for another round of baking or else you will experience stickage. Although there are manufacturing seams present where each doughnut depression meets the frame, I have never had that seam hold onto dough. Additionally, they are easy to clean. Each doughnut made in these pans is a mini size of 2-3/4".

I had received the full sized version as a gift and they were so much fun I had to have these too!

I made regular chocolate cupcake mix and spooned a little into each one and baked. Once they were cooled a little, I used a toothpick around the edge to help release them. Then I used a ring of chocolate frosting around the bottom (cavity side) and then dipped that in sprinkles. The results were a big hit.

The only thing that's a little difficult with them is that it is way too easy to over fill them and that nonstick spray is mandatory.

I'm looking forward to ordering another one so I can bake more at a time and try other flavors.

Keep in mind this is a TINY pan! Like one you would buy for a toddler. It's actually pretty cute - but after seeing it's size, I realize I should've bought 4 of them, or else it would feel wasteful to run my big oven for one little pan. It's roughly 7x10 (maybe a smidge larger) and the donuts would be 1 3/4 inches in diameter. Can't wait to use it though~

Love this pan. It is a great non-stick. It also comes with a basic doughnut recipe. Very easy to use.

I purchased this pan because I was hoping to make a more nutritious version of the little packages of mini donuts from convenience stores. I have two boys who love those donuts and a nephew with a gluten allergy. For my first try I spooned the batter in and it was a real mess. I overfilled and the donuts came out looking more like muffins. On the second try, I loaded the batter in a decorating bag (for frosting cakes) and squeezed a line of batter into each cavity. It worked great!

Great but it would be nice if they made it for 24 mini donut's. It's a waste of time to do 12 little mini donuts at a time.

The donuts made using this pan and attached recipe are great little novelties to take to parties. Our friends, and their kids, love them. Easy to use, and fun, too!
