When I bought these pans, I really didn't think I would use them as much as I do!
They are lightweight & perfect!
I couldn't do without mine.
I love them!

Quality wise, these pans are pretty awesome. They're thick and sturdy, but not too heavy. Like another reviewer, I didn't like that the corners were a bit round since I was doing a fondant cake too, but I ended up just cutting off one edge to get a sharp edge. I lost about 1/2 an inch of cake, so not that big a deal.

The main problem I had with them was that I had a terrible time getting the cakes out of the 12" pan, which is the only one I've used so far. After the first two stuck badly, I really went heavy on the shortening and flour coating and that one popped out nicely, so you have to be very thorough in that task.

There is a indentation in the middle of the larger pans and I'm not sure what the purpose of that is, but I did find it annoying. I wish there was a fill line instead of a middle square. I also found that the cake temperature and baking times provided by Wilton simply didn't work for me. Just go with the tried and true toothpick test and you'll be fine, baking an extra 5 minutes each test until you arrive at a good time to follow later. I had to add about 15 minutes.

Probably the best thing about the pans though is ease of washing. I didn't really want to try putting them into the dishwasher, so I hand washed it each time and the cake came away very easily. I have a dark pan and a glass one and getting those clean is a nightmare.

I have used the pans so far for practice. I am preparing to make my daughters wedding cake. These came in beautiful shape and great size for a three tier cake.

Excellent pans! Use shortening and spray it with some vegetable oil and flour the pan it falls out perfectly and it turns out perfect and beautiful every time! Also if you wrap a wet towel strip around it while you bake all of the cake will cook evenly:)No hardened edges.

very good. I didn't expect the big one to fit in my oven... but I'm using it for other things... as a tray for example.

I like using Wilton products. They are great quality products. I didnt need all of these pans when I ordered them, but I got these when the priced dropped. I used these pans to make my son a wrestling ring cake.

I've had this cake pan set for a few years now and use it more often than I would have expected.

Not to bake tiered cakes but because of the size variation, making sheet cakes for specific events and different numbers of people. Using this set I can make a gluten free cake in the medium sized pan, a sugar free in the small pan and a regular cake in the large pan and it's a good amount for larger groups of people.

Read the volume recommendations for cake mix and follow them. Don't use the time recommendations, just check them every 5 minutes using a skewer or tooth pick until done.

The pans clean easily and release well if you use lots of shortening and flour. I've also lined with parchment paper as well for easier release then greased and floured that.

Not a professional baker or decorator. Just someone who does a lot of baking!

These pans were great! Follow the directions for amount of batter though bc I had a cake overflow onto my oven!!

I was looking for square pans with sharp corners. These have all rounded corners for fondant, which I was not using. I had to return the pans.

The pans are great. I have not had a chance to use them, but I have them if I need them.
